In 1992, our founder, Barbara Chappuis, a Registered Nurse, wasn't getting the results she needed for her cracked, bleeding, and raw hands from constant hand washing and harsh chemicals at the hospital. This inspired her to start Bee Naturals, a company committed to formulating and producing skin and body care products with a specific therapeutic purpose, using the highest quality ingredients that promote overall well-being.

Our products are developed and based on our clients' needs. While the term "all-natural" has become nearly meaningless, we formulate our products with ingredients that are the purest and safest we can source, with a safe track record for topical (external skin) use. We do use chemicals, but they can be purer than natural sources (like oxides) and avoid heavy metals. We also use synthesized hyaluronic acid for better purity and ethical sourcing, and we skip nasty chemicals and non-renewables like mineral oil.

While not USDA certified organic, we prioritize organic ingredients, especially for oils prone to harmful residue (like sunflower oil), and we source carefully to keep prices affordable. Bee Naturals is committed to animal welfare and safety, and we never use ingredients from sources that don't demonstrate their commitment to animal welfare. We're Leaping Bunny certified.

Our products are gluten-free, but not certified as such, as this would be an additional expense that would drive up the cost of our products to a level we consider unacceptable.
